Wow, I Look Like A Big Boy Now!

So, here's the finished product. My 1st haircut came with a certificate and guess what? It was free! Sweet! So what do you think? I look like a big boy, right?

Going, Going, Gone!

Today I got my very 1st haircut. Daddy took me to the place he gets his hair cut. It's called Ed's Barber Shop. That is my Poppy's name too! Mommy says I did really good. I sat still for the most part, except when Bubba touched my ears. After all I've been through with the ears... don't touch!!! But, everything calmed down when I got to have a blue sucker. This was also my 1st Lollipop. It turned my tounge blue, weird!

Does Anyone Have Scissors?

I need a haircut badly at this point. I'm approaching my first birthday and I cannot see clearly anymore. Add the long hair to my already long eyelashes.. and now you see my problem. Daddy says I can get a haircut when it gets closer to my birthday.

Grandpa's Tools Are Better Than Mine!

Grandpa Julian used his electric drill to put up baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs in my house. I'm not thrilled that Mommy wanted to block me from going up and down, but I figured I would help Gramps anyway. First, I tried to eat the drill. Then, I held the heavy drill and finally, I pointed out to Grandpa where to make the hole. Thank godness I was here to help him with this project!

It's Tool Time!

I am now discovering tools. Today, I found a hammer and I couldn't be happier. It's a tool that is meant to be banged against walls and tables. I love to hit walls and tables. I am so happy!

Both Hands On The Wheel, Please!

When the weather gets nice I like to roll around in my Jeep. I was watching MTV and saw some guys driving around with one hand on the wheel and the other relaxing behind them. I'm cool like that.

Oops, I Forgot My Clothes Inside!

Right now it's bath time, but I'd rather be outside. So, here I am wearing nothing but a diaper on the porch. The girls who live next door saw me and started yelling, "Baby Alex is naked"!

Playing In The Grass

I like to spend sunny days outside. Sometimes, I just sit down in the grass and see what I can find to eat. Usually, it's sticks and leaves.
ps. it's hard to see through these long eyelashes!

Day Of Play!

My friend Blake who lives next door came over to play today. It was cool, because I got to show him all of my toys. You can see how excited I was to see Blake, I started clapping. Both of our Mom's were happy because we shared toys with each other.

Baby Food? Not For This Big Boy

Now that I am off the strained stuff, I like to feed myself. The pictures you see here show what happens when Mommy and Daddy try to feed me with a baby spoon.

My First Easter!

I am enjoying my first Easter. I went to church with Mommy & Daddy and learned all about why we celebrate Easter. Mommy said Easter is a day that is even more important than Christmas. We also celebrated Easter by going to an Easter egg hunt. While the other kids were collecting eggs, I found a bag of Doritos! SCORE!

Precious Pictures!

Why I Oughta!

Which wraskly wrabbit put these ears on me? Easter is this coming weekend and Aunt Sheila thought these ears were appropriate for me to welcome in the holiday. I heard Mommy say that I have to wear them to an Easter egg hunt this weekend. Great, I hope no other kids see me wearing them! I also have a special Easter outfit to wear to church on Sunday!

I Scream For Ice Cream!

On our trip to Hilton Head Island I tried ice cream. It was cold and sweet. My favorite part were the sprinkles. I can't wait until my 1st birthday, so I can have more ice cream *and* cake too!

A Day Trip To Hilton Head Island With Mom & Dad!

This weekend we went to Hilton Head Island for the day! I saw big boats and a famous lighthouse seen during golf tournaments. It was fun walking on the dock.

Waiting For Daddy!

Sometimes, I sit by the door and wait for Daddy to come home. He is fun to play with and I love him!

Alex vs. The Ear Infection

I tried to be patient. But, after my 6th ear infection in 6 months I had it! The doctor told me that my ears are not draining properly and ear infections will continue unless I have tubes put in. So this is the before and after pictures of having tubes put in. I was really out of it from the anaesthesia . But, these days I am feeling great! In fact, this week I had a runny nose and so far my ears are draining and I haven't spiked a fever. So that means they are working! Yippee!

Wagon Ride With Blake!

I like hanging out with my next-door neighbor Blake. We go to the same school and we play together when we get home. He is 2 years old, but he thinks I am cool! We went on our 1st wagon ride together.

Having Fun With GG And Gramps!

It's fun spending time with my G.G. and Gramps, they love to hug, feed and spoil me!

If You're Happy And You Know It, Clap Your Hands

I was so excited when I figured out that hitting my hands together made a noise. Now I clap all the time and then do "hands up". I crack myself up!
